***WARNING THIS IS A LONG POST!!***
My time in North Carolina was FANTASTIC!!! I did not want to come home at all. I had the best time. Seeing Audrey and the family was great. She let me sleep in every morning, we went swimming, laid by the pool, read books, took naps, went to movies, shopping, out to dinner and lots more. It was a great play week for me. I also got to spend some great time with the kids. Michael playing with his Disney cars from the movie "CARS" is like the cutest thing ever. He knows all their names and what part they play in the movie. I loved playing with him. He even got my name down....I am now officially Biki!!I got to play doll house and little pet shops with the girls, and had tons of fun with them in the pool. My last night there we painted our toe nails and watch the musical Hair Spray. At night time I took turns snuggling with the girls before they went to sleep. We went to the Children's Museum while I was there but both me and Audrey forgot our cameras!!! We were kicking ourselves as that was a highlight. The kids were so cute at the museum and I am sure they will be going back. I loved just sitting and talking with my sister!! It was great to spent that one on one time with her. Their house is coming along, and it will be so beautiful when it is finished. Audrey is so good at decorating and making things cute. I got to see her idea for the girls room and was jealous that I did not have something like that in my room.
I got to see some fireflies on Friday night and that was so fun. I love them and wish I could see them more. I also got to spend some time with my friend Ashley! It was kind of surreal that I was at her house in North Carolina where she grew up. I spent the night with her family and they were great. Me and Ash went shopping and then met up with her husband and her parents for dinner. Back at her house we played.......Rock Band, what else! I found out that I am a little rusty and need to improve my skills. I have missed her so much that getting to see her was a treat. My favorite part was our midnight walk around her neighborhood. We used to take walks in Nauvoo and Provo just the two of us. I loved being able to do that again, and have that freedom to just talk and be together like old times. It was something that I did not realize I missed so much until we were actually doing it.THANKS ASH!!
Here are some random pictures of the trip.
They are so lucky to have a pool in the back yard, I LOVED it!! Audrey was swimming laps much like Michael Phelps and so I had to get in on the goggle action. We are two hot babes.
We went to Costco on my first day there, and Michael wanted to be cool and wear my sun glasses. I really dont think there is anything cuter than this little boy. He had curly hair back in Utah, but the humidity has made it REALLY curly. His golden waves are the envy of all women and men for that matter!Me and Ashley had to get a picture together to prove that I was there. This was taken at a random gas station where we were doing the hand off. Audrey and Scott met us there to pick me up. She had to look all cute, while I went for comfort.
This was taken in Ashville, during our Memorial Day trip. I will be posting more about this trip later. It was soo much fun. I had to put this picture up because they are so cute, and have the best imaginations.
I love this picture!! This is at the children's museum! It is hard to tell but we are squeezing into this tiny metal airplane! Michael was driving and we were the passengers. I love you Audge!!
I will be doing another post all about our great memorial day trip we took to Ashville North Carolina. But I just wanted to share the happiness that was this trip. I REALLY did not want to come home. I had such a great time being there. Thanks so much to Audrey and Ash for making it a fabulous trip! It was exactly what I needed!!!!!
